Arlington Road-rage Killer Gets 50 Years in Prison for Woman's Murder

A man who said he just wanted to "scare" the victim of a fatal road rage shooting in Arlington last year was sentenced Thursday to 50 years in prison for her murder. A grand jury sentenced Aspen Warren, 22, on Thursday in the death of 26-year-old Brittany Daniel, according to Tarrant County records. Daniel was shot Jan. 27, 2016, as she drove down Interstate 30, between Cooper and Center streets. She died of a bullet wound to her torso and she died at an area hospital, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner. A passenger who called police said a man in the back of another vehicle opened fire.Warren admitted to pulling the trigger, but said he did not mean to hurt Daniel, KXAS-TV (NBC5) reported.
