Arlington Police Say Felon Fired Handgun During Argument With His Girlfriend

Arlington police arrested a felon last week after they say he fired a handgun during a domestic argument.Antonio Marlon Berry, 28, was arrested Friday on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon — family violence and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Redwood Drive on Friday after a shooting was reported. When they arrived, Berry told them that he and his girlfriend had gotten into an argument but all he had done was "hit the hood of his vehicle with his fist," police said. However, investigators discovered a video that showed Berry pulling out a firearm out of his waistband and firing a single shot in the air, as well as a number of shell casings at the home, police said.No injuries were reported.Berry has since bonded out of the Arlington jail.  Continue reading...
