Arlington Man Charged After He Called DEA Agents to Give Them 4 Kilos of Heroin, Feds Say

An Arlington man was indicted Wednesday after officials say he called federal agents in Dallas to tell them he had four kilograms of heroin he wanted to give them.Oscar Oregel, Sr., called the Drug Enforcement Administration Feb. 14 and met with agents the next day, telling them he wanted to turn over more than 8 pounds of heroin to officials. Oregel consented to DEA personnel searching his home in Arlington, where they found four packages of white powder that later tested positive for the presence of heroin, according to a federal criminal complaint.   Continue reading...
