Amtrak Train Kills Pedestrian on Trinity Railway Express Tracks in Haltom City

One person was killed Tuesday afternoon after being struck by an Amtrak train in Haltom City.The incident was reported about 3:45 p.m. on the Trinity Railway Express tracks near the 1800 block of Carson Street.The victim was dead when authorities arrived, Haltom City Fire Chief Fred Knapp said. The person had not been identified as of Tuesday afternoon.The transit authority issued an alert on Twitter warning riders of delays because of the accident near the Richland Hills Station.  Continue reading...
