Ammunition Found Hidden in Ceiling at Woodrow Wilson High School, But Officials Say There's No Threat

Ammunition was discovered in a building on the Woodrow Wilson High School campus this week, officials say.Principal Michael Moran said in a letter to parents Tuesday that a contractor who was installing wiring Monday night found the ammo hidden in the ceiling of a portable building.A class in that building was moved while Dallas ISD police investigated Tuesday. Authorities did not find anything else.There was no threat against the Old East Dallas school, and "the campus remains safe," Moran saidIn an unrelated incident Tuesday, an elementary school in Ellis County was locked down after ammunition was found in a toilet.
