After Weeks With No Answer, McKinney Mayor Says He Won't Support Forcible Annexation

For weeks, McKinney Mayor George Fuller insisted he hadn't made up his mind in the fight over forcibly annexing thousands of acres just outside the city limits. Now he has: No annexation. The news came Friday afternoon in a post on his Facebook page lamenting the inability of the city and landowners to come to terms on an agreement to delay annexation for 45 years.
