After Nabbing Suspected Thief, DeSoto Police Want to Reunite Packages With Their Owners

A 21-year-old man was arrested in connection with 10 stolen packages that were taken from resident’s doorsteps over the past two weeks, police said.Christopher Charles Anderson Jr. was arrested Thursday at his home about 9 a.m. and faces a theft of property charge. He is being held at the DeSoto city jail in lieu of $1,500 bond.DeSoto residents provided multiple tips related to the incidents, including photos and videos of the crimes, police said.Police obtained several packages from Anderson’s vehicle and reunited some items to their owners, but police are still trying to find the owners of the rest of the items.It is unknown what Anderson was planning to do with the items since he is not cooperating with police, Sgt.
