A Faith Healer's 105-year-old Landmark Church in Downtown Dallas Could Use Some Divine Intervention

I spent Father's Day getting up early, putting on a tie, driving downtown and going to church. Just as my rabbi always hoped.And it wasn't just any church, but The Eagle's Nest Cathedral a few blocks behind Dallas City Hall, home of Pastor W. V. Grant, the second-generation faith healer who appears to have dusted himself off after a few falls from grace, including a 16-month stint in federal prison for tax evasion two decades ago. But I didn't go for the service or to rehash old Diane Sawyer exposes or long-ago guilty pleas. I just went to see the inside of the church that first opened its doors in 1912.
