A $2 Million Gift for Museum of Street Culture That's Taking Root in Dallas' Historic 508 Park Ave.

The years-in-the-making Museum of Street Culture in downtown Dallas is now $2.1 million closer toward raising the $18 million it needs to open its doors in 2018.The ever-expanding group behind the ever-evolving project, intended as the centerpiece of the Encore Park project taking root around The Stewport on Park Avenue, announced Wednesday that the Moody Foundation is providing the sizable grant. That's the same foundation that, in recent years, has contributed millions toward Klyde Warren Park, the Highland Park ISD, the Perot Museum of Nature & Science, the Family Place, the Dallas Police Department and countless other organizations.  Continue reading...
