One person was shot Sunday night in west Oak Cliff after an attempted robbery turned violent, Dallas police said.The incident took place about 8:40 p.m. in the 2600 block of West Jefferson Boulevard, near North Plymouth Road. A 69-year-old man told officers that a stranger approached him and demanded his property before shooting him and fleeing the scene.Dallas Fire-Rescue took the man to a local hospital.
