42 Animals Seized From ‘cruel' Conditions at Pottsboro Home

Authorities seized 42 animals from a North Texas home over the weekend and arrested a man they said was treating them cruelly.The SPCA of Texas, the Grayson County Sheriff's Office and the Pottsboro Police Department seized the animals — 32 rabbits, six dogs, two birds and two ferrets — from a Pottsboro home Saturday. They also found a dead rabbit.The rabbits were living outdoors in what the SPCA of Texas described as “cruelly confined cages filled with feces and debris with little to no access to food, water or protection from the elements.” The ferrets and birds were kept in cages indoors, and the dogs were found roaming freely inside the home.  Continue reading...
