37-year-old Man Found Shot to Death in North Oak Cliff Apartment, Police Say

Police are asking for information after a man was found dead in a north Oak Cliff apartment apartment early Wednesday morning.Officers were responding to an active shooter call around 4:35 a.m. when witnesses directed them to 722 N. Marsalis Avenue, where they found a man dead of multiple gunshot wounds inside an apartment.Police identified the victim as 37-year-old Christopher Franklin.Anyone with information about the shooting can contact Detective Derick Chaney at 214-671-3650 or derick.chaney@dallascityhall.com and refer to case number 75821-2019.Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment for this offense.
