A 36-year-old man apparently drowned while swimming with his son at an apartment complex Thursday in Far East Dallas.Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel pulled Montiel Gibbs from a pool in the 11500 block of Ferguson Road around 9 p.m., police said.Gibbs was taken to Baylor University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 9:39 p.m. Officials aren't sure what caused him to go underwater for an extended time.
