3 Arrested in Deaths of Father, Son Shot During Robbery in East Oak Cliff, Police Say

Three men have been arrested in the March 11 slayings of a father and son who were fatally shot during a robbery at their east Oak Cliff apartment, Dallas police said.Police discovered the bodies of Irby Walton Sr., 69, and Irby Walton Jr., 41, about 10:30 a.m. in their home in the 3100 block of Simpson Stuart Road. The day after the shooting, police found the younger Walton's vehicle, which had been set on fire, in the 4700 block of Great Trinity Forest Way, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.Dallas police arrested Kevin Kidd, 18; Jermon Simmons, 24; and Emmanuel Kilpatrick on Monday.
