A 9-year-old student took a loaded gun to a Central Texas school for a second consecutive day Thursday.Classmates had told officials at Maxdale Elementary School in Killeen that the second-grader brought a gun to campus Wednesday.When he arrived at school Thursday morning, a Killeen ISD police officer searched his bag and found a loaded .40-caliber pistol, the district said in a statement.The student will be placed at an alternative-education facility, district officials said.Maxdale is the same school where a substitute teacher was removed from a fifth-grade classroom last week after duct-taping a number of students' mouths shut.
