28-year-old Man Dies After Being Shot While Driving in Far East Dallas, Police Say

A 28-year-old man died Sunday night after he was shot while driving in Far East Dallas, police said. Officers responded about 7:30 p.m. to a shooting call in the 11100 block of Cotillion Drive, near Barnes Bridge Road. They found a vehicle that had struck a utility pole and ended up in a front yard, police said. Thomas Hobson was found with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the vehicle had fled before officers arrived, police said. No one was in custody late Sunday. Police did not release any information about a possible shooter.  Continue reading...
