26-year-old Dies in Fall After Sliding Down Stair Rail at Grapevine Apartment Complex

A 26-year-old man died Friday evening after slipping off the railing of a stairwell he was trying to slide down, Grapevine police said.Kyle Wolf lived in the Marquis at Silver Oaks apartment complex on Grapevine Mills Parkway and was helping another resident move around 7:30 p.m., police spokeswoman Amanda McNew said.As the friends left the third-floor apartment, Wolf hopped onto the stair rail to slide down to the second floor but slipped and fell to the ground, McNew said.First responders performed CPR and took Wolf to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Grapevine, where he was pronounced dead shortly before 8:15 p.m., according to the Tarrant County medical examiner.Grapevine police are continuing to investigate but said there were no signs of foul play.  Continue reading...
