21-year-old Injured in Armed Robbery Says 4 Suspects Kicked in Door to Red Bird Apartment

A 21-year-old man injured in an armed robbery overnight told police that four suspects his kicked in the door to his Red Bird apartment.The victim said two of the suspects were armed with handguns and demanded property from his unit in the 3900 block of Gannon Lane about 1 a.m. Tuesday, Dallas police spokeswoman Debra Webb said in an email. One suspect fired several rounds, striking the victim. The suspects fled with the victim's property. They may have left in a 4-door sedan type vehicle. The victim was transported to a hospital. His condition is now known. Another armed robbery occurred earlier in South Dallas Monday night. One person was injured.
