20-year-old Man Electrocuted While Jumping Roofs in Waxahachie

A student at a Waxahachie college was electrocuted Sunday night when he touched some high-voltage wires while he jumped roofs, police said.Jedidiah Brookbank, a 20-year-old junior at Southwestern Assemblies of God University, was found around 11 p.m. on the roof of a business in the 100 block of North Rogers Street, Waxahachie police said.A preliminary investigation indicates Brookbank accidentally came in contract with a power line while he jumped, police said."He brightened up any room he entered with his laugh, smile, amazing personality, and ability to make anyone feel instantly welcomed and valued," his sister, Chelsea Brookbank, said in a statement released by the school Tuesday and quoted in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.  Continue reading...
