2 Tarrant County Men in Custody in Connection With Fatal Lubbock Shooting

Two Tarrant County men are behind bars in connection with the slaying of a West Texas man earlier this month.Larry Fawver, 67, was shot shortly before 6:30 p.m. July 13 outside his Lubbock home, police said. He died at the scene.The next day, police arrested 19-year-old Felix Joseph Alonzo of Fort Worth after the teen was involved in a single-vehicle crash. Alonzo was charged with murder and theft of a firearm, jail records show.Fawver was Alonzo's step-grandfather, according to KCBD-TV.On Tuesday, U.S. Marshals arrested 20-year-old Hassan Abdurahman of Grand Prairie.The homicide investigation may lead to more arrests, Lubbock police said. Officials have not released any additional details about case.Abdurahman was booked into the Tarrant County jail Wednesday, with bail set at $300,000, and in transit Thursday afternoon.
