2 Jailed in Collin County After Body in Lake Turns Missing Person Into Murder Case

The disappearance of a 35-year-old Dallas man began as a missing-person investigation in late February.Now it's a homicide investigation, after William Thomas Gilbreath's body was found floating in a lake far from home.One of two people jailed on murder charges in his death is Gilbreath's son's barber, the victim's family said.His family believes he went missing the night of Feb. 23, when he told his 17-year-old son he was leaving home and would be back in a half hour.Four days later, authorities found Gilbreath's body in Lake Whitney, west of Hillsboro and far from home.  Continue reading...
