2 Injured in Drive-by Shootings in Gang Dispute in South Dallas

Two people were shot as a silver SUV drove through an apartment lot complex and opened fire Thursday night in South Dallas, police said.The shootings were most likely a retaliatory strike in an ongoing feud between two gangs, police said.One of the victims was shot in the back and the other in the arm as they sat on an electrical panel box in the 3000 block of Park Row Avenue, police said.Southeast Division patrol officers responded around 10:20 p.m. after passengers in the SUV fired more than 25 rounds and fled the scene.The victims had their backs to the vehicle when the shootings occurred, police said.
