2 Hospitalized After Plane Crashes Into McKinney Home

An aircraft crashed into a McKinney home near a small airport Thursday afternoon, injuring two people who were on the plane, officials say. A McKinney Fire Department spokesperson said the plane crashed around 5:15 p.m. into a house in the 200 block of Black Bear Drive. No one on the ground or in the home was injured. The home is near the Aero Country Airport, a privately owned public-use airport in unincorporated Collin County, according to its website. It is unclear whether the plane was heading to the airport.The aircraft was a small, two-seat plane, the spokesperson said. Both people in the plane were taken to the hospital.
