2 Children Thrown From Car, 5 Adults Injured in Multi-vehicle Crash in Fort Worth

Seven people were injured, including two children who were thrown from a car, in a multi-vehicle rollover crash in east Fort Worth on Friday.The accident happened around 11:15 a.m. in the 2900 block of East Loop 820 South, between East Rosedale and East Berry streets.A vehicle struck a tractor-trailer on the freeway, leading it to crash into the median. Two children, ages 6 and 3, were thrown from the car, authorities said.Debris from that crash hit a dump truck in oncoming traffic. The dump truck's driver hit the brakes, and a vehicle rear-ended it.In all, five adults and two children were hospitalized. One was in critical condition, two were in serious condition and the other four had minor injuries, officials said.Authorities cleared the scene of the accident around noon.  Continue reading...
