Two young boys were injured in an accidental shooting in a Fort Worth parking lot Friday after they found a loaded gun in their family's vehicle.Police were called to the Chuck E. Cheese's in the 4800 block of Southwest Loop 820, near Chisholm Trail Parkway, just before 6 p.m.Sgt. Marc Povero, a police spokesman, told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that the boys, ages 5 and 3, had left the restaurant ahead of their family. When they got in the SUV, they found a .38-caliber pistol and started playing with it.The gun then discharged, injuring the child holding it in the hand. The other child was shot in the back, Povero said.Both children were hospitalized with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening.Police are investigating the incident. Continue reading...
