Two men connected to an October 2015 slaying near Dallas' Medical District have pleaded guilty to robbery charges. A third man who dumped the rifle he used in the shooting in a Dallas lake, but left his cellphone at the crime scene, was convicted of murder in April and sentenced to life in prison. Andre Duron Davis, 24, was shot and killed during a robbery at a home on Chattanooga Place, about a block from UT Southwestern Medical Center.During the shooting, two witnesses fled through a bathroom window. One later said Davis was shot after he grabbed the barrel of the rifle and "tussled" with the robbers, arrest records show. Witnesses identified Darrion Dallas, 32, as the shooter. They also identified Kenneth Henderson, 30, and Charleston Jackson, 35, as standing in the doorway when Dallas opened fire on Davis, court records show. Continue reading...
