18-wheeler Strikes, Kills Pedestrian on I-45 in South Dallas

A pedestrian died late Tuesday night after an 18-wheeler struck them on northbound Interstate 45 in Dallas, officials said.The incident took place around 11:45 p.m., KXAS-TV (Channel 5) reported. The pedestrian was struck between Cooper Street and Lenway Street.Dallas police closed the highway while investigators examined the area.
