12-year-old Killed, Grandma Critically Injured After Crashing Into Fort Worth Tree

A fatal crash left a grandmother in critical condition and her 12-year-old granddaughter dead in east Fort Worth Sunday morning.The woman had four children in the car when she collided with a tree in the 2200 block of east Lancaster Street, near Beach Street, shortly before 10:30 a.m., Fort Worth police spokesman Bradley Perez said.The victim was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, Perez said.
