1 Dead, 2 Hurt in Casa Linda Crash Involving Speeding Teenager

One person was killed and two others were injured when a 17-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle in Dallas' Casa Linda neighborhood early Friday afternoon.The crash occurred about 12:30 p.m. when the teen was headed north at high speed in the 1500 block of North Buckner Boulevard, police said.According to a witness, the teen's vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with two southbound vehicles, a gray Lincoln Navigator with two people inside and a Ford Freestar van with a single occupant.The driver of the Navigator died en route to the hospital, police said. The passenger suffered severe injuries.The driver of the van was hospitalized with unknown injuries.The 17-year-old is expected to face charges. He was not identified.  Continue reading...
