Red Carpet Style for Brides-to-Be

Non-white dresses offer luxe way to stand out

Currently swamped with demands for red carpet designs for the Oscar’s, David Meister has his hands full.

He’s as busy as a bride on her wedding day -- a fitting comparison given the designer recently launched a bridal line.

Meister Bridal is considered a luxe line, even though the price points are reasonable. It’s all about modern silhouettes, old Hollywood glamour and a pop of the unexpected -- bridal gowns that aren’t white.

“Color is a way of differentiating. For a bride that really wants to take a risk, a completely different-colored dress is fabulous,” said Meister.

The collection has debuted with 12 styles ranging in price from $1500-$3500.

That’s not a bad price to pay for a dress designed by a man who’s known for dressing A-list stars.

Meister offered this advice to brides who are still on the hunt for their special dress -- “You should really stay true to yourself. You want to be glamorous but you still want to be yourself!”

Find his line at Neiman Marcus.
