PLANO POLICE INVESTIGATE INDECENT EXPOSURES
An investigation is under way after a number of indecent exposures were reported recently in Plano neighborhoods, police said. Police said the first reported incident occurred in late October and the most recent was reported in early December. Investigators said all the incidents involved school-aged girls and a man driving a small passenger. In each case, the girls fled the location and got help. (NBC DFW)
EULESS PAIR MADE FALSE CLAIMS OF HOME TAKEOVER, POLICE SAY
Two Euless residents were arrested Monday, accused of falsely telling authorities that killers had taken over their house. David Robbins, 27, and Amanda Sachse, 26, were in the Euless Jail on suspicion of public intoxication, making a false report and possession of a controlled substance, said Euless police spokesman Lt. BANDIT IN PINK HITS TWO FORT WORTH STORES
A woman dressed in pink robbed a west Fort Worth convenience store and tried to rob a second one early this morning, authorities said. According to Lt. Paul Henderson, a Fort Worth police spokesman, the woman walked into a 7-Eleven in the 2800 block of Horne Street about 2 a.m., pulled a pistol from the waistband of her pink pajama pants and demanded money from the clerk. CORNY DOG 'HEIRESS' RESCUED AFTER KIDNAPPING
A young woman is safe after being kidnapped from her Double Oak home Monday morning. After the kidnapping, police said Amber Fletcher, 21, placed a call to her mother and said she needed $100,000 or her abductors would kill her. Police believed a possible motive for Fletcher's kidnapping is that the abductors believed her family would be able to pay the ransom -- as they introduced the "Corny Dog" to the Texas State Fair sometime between 1938 and 1942. DALLAS POLICE INVESTIGATE FATAL SHOOTING
Dallas police are investigating a shooting that killed one man and injured another man in the parking lot of the St. Regis Apartments located in the 6900 block of St. Regis Drive in southeast Dallas. Police said the pair was walking through the parking lot getting ready to enter one of the apartments when a woman and man opened fire on them. At this point there is no motive and it is unknown whether the individuals knew each other. (NBC DFW)
TEACHER ARRESTED ON COCAINE CHARGE
A teacher at a Mi Escuelita preschool in Cockrell Hill was arrested Sunday evening, accused of possessing crack cocaine. Officers said they pulled over Josefa Isabel Ybarra, 32, about 7 p.m. in the 1700 block of Fort Worth Avenue in West Dallas for failing to maintain a single lane of traffic. She seemed nervous, according to a police report. (Read more: Dallas Morning News)
