Cole Hamels' Mansion is Up for Sale in Missouri

Cole Hamels is packing up and moving close to home.

According to Realtor.com, the Rangers ace is selling one of the most ridiculously awesome looking homes you’ll ever see.  The listing price – $9.75 million. The location – Branson, Missouri.

Hamels began building the 32-thousand square-foot mansion in 2012 as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies. The residence sits on 104.7 acres of land with more than 1,700 feet of shoreline along Table Rock Lake.

There are 10 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms and six half-baths. The house also has four living areas and includes a second kitchen, exercise room, wine cellar, elevator and three-car garage. It’s still a work in progress, as some of the interior remains unfinished.

After the Rangers acquired the lefty in a deadline trade in 2015, Hamels and his wife Heidi, who’s from the Ozarks, decided the Lone Star State was the place to live.

The 33-year old ace is 7-1 with a 3.31 ERA in 14 starts this season for the Rangers. The ace moniker now belongs solely to Hamels after Texas sent Yu Darvish to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the final minutes before this year’s trade deadline expired. He still has one year left on his 6-year, $144 million contract he signed with the Phillies, which also has a club and team option for 2019.
