Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace in 3D is coming to theaters Feb. 10, but fans can enjoy another three-dimensional Star Wars experience this weekend.
Peter Mayhew, the 7 foot 3 inch actor who played Chewbacca, will be making appearances at three different Studio Movie Grill locations in DFW this weekend.
Mayhew will be signing autographs in Dallas (11170 N. Central Expressway) on Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., in Arlington (225 Merchants Row) on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and in Plano (4721 W. Park Blvd.) on Sunday from noon to 2 p.m.
The English-born Mayhew now resides in the Wise County town of Boyd and continues to travel the country promoting Star Wars and making appearances as Chewie.
