It was only a matter of time before the former first family got some Tex-Mex, and GuideLive has the very interesting details.
In a GuideLive blog post, Allan Peppard reports George and Laura Bush chipped and dipped at Fernando's Mexican Cuisine -- located in Preston Hollow's Country Club.
They weren't alone. According to reports, Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison and her family were in the place before the former first family came in to dine with long-time fundraising friends Debbie and Jim Francis.
Apparently, everyone was cool until Fernando and staff wanted to snap some photos with Dubya, which turned the calm taco-trip into a photo frenzy.
Peppard reports that folks said W was very gracious and took photos with lots of folks before leaving the restaurant to rounds of applause.
