The heated Golden Local debate over the Best Steakhouse in DFW has come to an end with Bob's Steak & Chop House winning with just 51 percent of the votes on line.
Around Town correspondent Annie Potasznik presented the winner's certificate to Bob's manager Silvio Carbone.
Carbone thanked Bob's loyal customers from the Dallas-Fort Worth and surrounding areas.
"First off I'd like to thank all of the Bob's customers, I really appreciate that. It's amazing how loyal they are," Carbone said. "In a town of great steakhouses it's truly an honor being named one of them."
More than 3000 people voted for Bob's and more than 980 left comments on the Golden Local winner.
Bob's Steak & Chop House first opened on Lemmon Ave. in Dallas in 1993.
Bob's boasts quality ingredients including large cuts of USDA Prime steaks, chops and seafood as well as stiff drinks and an extensive wine list offering more than 300 selections from climate-controlled cellars.
Bob's has received many accolades from D Magazine, Bon Appetit, Travel + Leisure and a prestigious award from the Distinguished Restaurants of North America.
