Artists Try to Make 24 Comic Pages in 24 Hours

For the sixth year in a row, two locations of Lone Star Comics will host 24 Hour Comics Day from noon on Oct. 3 through noon on Oct. 4 -- but this is nothing like your standard lock-in.

While there is certain to be fun, games, and general geeking out about who really is the Red Hulk, the main event is a 24 hour race to see which comic artist can write and draw a complete 24 page comic book in just 24 hours.

Last year, over 35 creators took the challenge with more expected this time around.

Lone Star's locations in Arlington and Dallas will be open for the entire event, making it the one day you can buy a back-issue copy of Spawn at 2 a.m.
