Blake Fielder-Civil has reportedly filed for divorce from Amy Winehouse.
Fielder-Civil is currently serving a jail term for grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice.
His lawyer reportedly urged him to begin proceedings against Winehouse on the grounds of her alleged adultery.
Winehouse has been photographed recently on vacation in St. Lucia with actor Josh Bowman.
The Daily Mail reports in its online editions that Fielder-Civil will ask for half of Winehouse's estimated $15 million fortune.
Meanwhile Winehouse has been talking about her relationship with Bowman saying she had "forgotten I'm even married" to Blake.
She went on to explain: "I've finally escaped from hell. I'm in love again and I don't need drugs. Look at me, I'm glowing."
