Pastry chef Duff Goldman has had his hands full lately. After wrapping up his Food Network reality show, Ace of Cakes—which after five years aired its final episode last night—the Baltimore-based pastry chef is planning to head West to open another Charm City Cakes in L.A., and has reportedly picked up a new T.V. series that will document his cross-country move.
This Sunday, on Food Network's Chopped All-Stars, he'll go head-to-head against fellow food tube stars Anne Burrell (of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef), Claire Robinson (of 5 Ingredient Fix) and Robert Irvine (of Dinner: Impossible and Restaurant: Impossible) for a $50,000 charity prize.
The Feast Miami caught up with the uberbaker at Martha Stewart's "Let Them Eat Cake" bash during the South Beach Wine & Food Festival last month, for this episode of Sin City, in which he makes a pretty big claim: Peanut butter and jelly in the same jar was his idea, folks.
