8/17: City Slick

NOSH CITY: If the fancy strikes you to visit any of DFW's most-hyped dining spots this week, be sure to call ahead. Today, the meat of KRLD's charity focused Restaurant Week series begins, and appreciators of fine cuisine for cheap have reserved at least a chunk of the tables at more than 120 participating restaurants where they'll indulge in three courses for $35 through Sunday. Find out more here.

DOWNTOWN LOVERS: Conflicting work schedules, martini-soaked balcony run-ins with exes and money-rooted power struggles: the sagas of modern romance seem like a day at the spa in the shadow of "West Side Story." The streetwise translation of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" is on at Artisan Center Theater, 7:30PM.

HUSTLE AND SHINE: Each Monday, Hailey's in Denton becomes a disco -- not just a dance club, but a full-on, no cover Disco Workout party, the only good reason we've thought of for those metallic bodysuits to leave the American Apparel display windows. 10PM.
