3/13-14: Rumblings

DUKES UP: Vegas has got nothing on this weekend's fight. JerryWorld is expected to hold up to 40,000 live spectators for the WBO welterweight title fight between Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey. Add in those watching on pay-per-view and this is likely to be a record-breaking fight --just another trophy Jones can put on his mantle while we await another Super Bowl ring... Anyways, the fight starts at 8 p.m. in Arlington, but we'll bet it'll end at 8:15 after a two-hit combo from Clottey. Any takers?

EMERALD AISLES: Streets will become aisles of revelers during the St. Patrick's Day Parade and block party that will engulf Lower Greenville. We delievered many more details in our Know Before You Go article on the Irish-inspired fest, so head here for start times and best practices. Our biggest tip? Don't drive.

BEST OF FEST: With South By Southwest starting up, Denton's North By 35 music conferrette will help music fans transition to Austin's fest. So before you pack up and head to the capitol, head north to hear bands like The Flaming Lips, Midlake, Smile Smile, Dem Southernfolkz, Damaged Good$, Telegraph Canyon, Neon Indian, and Oso Closo (just to name the ones on our "must see" list). Check our complete coverage to see all the details.
