12/22: Jingle Run

Cool (holiday) runnings kick-off at the Hilton Anatole.

NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS: Join Clinton Lane, DJ Ivy, Yosh & Pierre and King James spinning the hottest top 40/electro beats till 2 a.m. at M Street Bar along with a free Nightmare Before Christmas movie screening. Watch Tim Burton’s creepy holiday tale at 11 p.m., then hop onto the dance floor and let loose. Sip on $1 drafts, $3 shot specials and a fan favorite, $3 Khalua hot chocolates all night. 

HOLIDAY NIGHT RUNNER: Lace up the sneaks, throw on a Santa hat and get ready to run at the 2010 Dallas Jingle Bell Run benefitting Trinity Strand Trail and Mavericks Foundation. The Hilton Anatole Hotel hosts two nighttime races full of family fun, food and holiday cheer. The first run begins at 6:30 p.m. and is only 1 mile long, while the second run is a 5K beginning at 7 p.m., for those seeking a bit of an athletic challenge.  Register at the Anatole for $25 as early as 4 p.m.  And get ready to jingle all the way to the finish line.

AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION NEEDED: Join Robin Hood and his Merry Men as they outwit the scheming Baron Von Nasty-Chap in the debut Dallas stage production of Babes in the Wood at the Cox Building Playhouse in Plano, presented by Theatre-Britain. The traditional British panto by Jackie Mellor-Guin will induce laughter and require audience participation.  Show starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for students and seniors, $8 for children 14 and under.
