12/10: Wu-Tang Clan, Kenichi Charity and Majestic Poetry

Hear the Clan take on the Granada!

LEGEND OF THE WU-TANG CLAN: Coming together to perform is no small task for the members of the Wu-Tang Clan – yet, RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, and Masta Killa (minus the late Ol’ DB) will be meeting up on the Granada stage in front of a sold out crowd tonight. Hopefully, you already bought your $63 ticket! The Staten Island-based hip hop legends got fans moving as early as ’92. While most have branched out achieving solo success, the collective Wu-Tang sound still gets fans hyped up. Hear one of the best hip hop acts of all time do some lyrical work when they grab the mic. Doors open at 8 p.m.

DO A LITTLE DANCE, DONATE A TOY, GET DOWN TONIGHT: Throw on your party dress, and donate a boardgame before you dance the night away at Kenichi. The posh sushi spot is collecting boardgames at the doors or just $10 cash to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters. With every donation, you’re automatically entered in a chance to win one of the evening’s giveaway prizes. Dress to impress with drink specials all night and a DJ spinning til 2 a.m. You can even nibble on some free sushi if you arrive early. The charity dance party starts at 9 p.m.

TABOOS IN THE NIGHT: The South Dallas Cultural Center welcomes five National Performance Network artists to the Majestic Theater tonight. Performing for the first time and in honor of the company’s 25th anniversary, the five acts will treat audiences to a night full of spoken word, dance and theater performances intended for all art enthusiasts alike. Tickets are $12.50 with the evening of variety acts beginning at 7 p.m.
