Lady Antebellum, Tom Arnold and a Neil Simon classic

SOLO ACT: Tom Arnold may be more recognized as Rosanne’s real-life ex-husband, but the actor and comedian knows his way around the stand-up stage too. The funnyman has won accolades for his writing and has recently been seen as host on The Best Damn Sports Show Period. He visits the Hyena’s Comedy Club at Mockingbird Station for back to back shows tonight starting at 8:30 p.m. and tomorrow beginning at 8 p.m.

THE DRUNK DIALING CLAN: In true country music fashion, Lady Antebellum touches on matters of the heart and the regrettable effects of lonely drunk dialing. The Nashville trio third album “Our Kind of Love” reached the number one spot on the Hot Country Songs chart and the track “Need You Now” earning the group the Single of the Year Award. Tonight the country sensation visits the Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie at 7:30 p.m.

NO SHOES OR SOCKS REQUIRED: The Contemporary Theatre of Dallas presents Neil Simon classic “Barefoot in the Park” live on stage. The comedy about newlyweds Paul and Corie take aim at the classic opposites attract theory. Paul, the uptight lawyer and Corie the happy –go –lucky free spirit who just wants her husband to let loose and join her on a barefoot adventure in the park. The performance begins at 8 p.m. with the show running through Nov. 21.
