There was late word Friday night that Dallas County Schools has now made payments on debts it defaulted on two weeks ago.
The troubled school bus agency has been struggling to raise cash to cover its bills.
In a financial filing Thursday evening DCS said it was now up to date on payments owed on its bond and lease payments.
DCS has not said exactly how it raised approximately $10 million in cash needed to make those payments.
In a statement DCS interim superintendent Leatha Mullins said, "We are being as frugal as possible and working diligently with investors along with correcting our business processes to ensure we are getting our invoices out timely and following up with our ISDs on timely payments."
DCS also said it received payments due from a vendor and that it is meeting with investors and advisers daily, negotiating and preparing a plan to move forward.
