President George W. Bush Signs Books in Dallas

Hundreds of people braved the cold weather to have former President George W. Bush sign copies of his new book about former President George H. W. Bush --- "41: A Portrait of My Father."

The line Thursday morning stretched outside the Barnes & Noble book store and into the Lincoln Park shopping center.

"He's done so many great things for our country and I'm just excited to be a part of it," said Adrienne Morris.

The signing was limited to those who bought the book and got a wristband beforehand. Some stood in the cold for others who couldn't.

"My wife wants it. She's at work right now, so I'm coming out here for her," said Michael Rodgers.

Time with the former president was limited, but for his North Texas fans it was worth the wait in the cold.

"Of course. He's one of our own," said Greg Deiter. "It's going to be an exciting book to read. We're looking forward to it."
