A Guide to the Dallas Festival of Ideas and Dallas Book Festival on April 29, 2017

The Dallas Festival of Ideas and Dallas Book Festival are expected to draw thousands to the heart of downtown on Saturday, April 29, for a day of arts, dance, music, author readings and conversations around how to make our city a better and more equitable place to live.

The two family-friendly festivals -- free to the public -- will take place at City Hall Plaza and the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The festivals will feature several national speakers and authors, and will culminate in an outdoor concert by the Polyphonic Spree.
