Chef Tim Love is best known for his many North Texas restaurants and his various appearances on cooking shows, but now he gets a show of his own.
"Restaurant Startup" debuts on CNBC at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
The show pits Love against restaurateur and TV personality Joe Bastianich. The pair compete against each other to invest their own money in food concepts that could take America by storm.
Two teams make their case to Love and Bastianich for a shot to launch their concept, then test the concept on the public. In the ends, Love and Bastianich decide whether to put their own money on the line to make someone's culinary dream come true.
