In anticipation of "The Blacklist" moving to Thursday nights, NBC has launched a "Red Is on the Run to Thursdays" scavenger hunt in 25 cities this week, including Dallas on Wednesday.
It all culminates with a national tune-in-and-win sweepstakes with a $25,000 cash prize during the show's Thursday premiere on Feb. 5.
Each day, fans will go on a scavenger hunt to find Red Reddington look-alike decoys in their city by solving the clues on the show's social media handles.
The first three fans in each city to catch the Red decoy, wearing his signature suit and fedora hat, will be rewarded with cash prizes – $500 for 1st place, $300 for 2nd place and $200 for 3rd place. The website RedOnTheRun.com will collect all of the social media activity, including the clues in each city and the show's Twitter feed.
The "Red Is on the Run to Thursdays" scavenger hunt will visit the following cities:
- Monday, Feb. 2 – Los Angeles, Denver, Minneapolis, Boston, Hartford and Washington, DC
- Tuesday, Feb. 3 – Sacramento, St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh

For decades, ex-government agent Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader) has been one of the FBI's Most Wanted fugitives. Brokering shadowy deals for criminals across the globe, Red was known by many as "The Concierge of Crime." Last season, he mysteriously surrendered to the FBI but now the FBI work for him as he identifies a "blacklist" of politicians, mobsters, spies and international terrorists. He will help catch them all... with the caveat that Elizabeth "Liz" Keen (Megan Boone) continues to work as his partner. Red will teach Liz to think like a criminal and "see the bigger picture"... whether she wants to or not. Also starring are Diego Klattenhoff, Harry Lennix, Amir Arison and Mozhan Marno. Jon Bokenkamp, John Eisendrath, John Davis, John Fox and Michael Watkins serve as executive producers. "The Blacklist" is a production of Sony Pictures Television and Davis Entertainment.
