Get Your Free Tacos, Freebies for National Taco Day

But you may need a taco costume

Sometimes you just need to take a moment and enjoy a good taco.

Thanks to National Taco Day, restaurants in North Texas are making it a bit easier to satisfy those greasy, meaty cravings.

Pro tip: Best practice is to check if your local restaurant is participating in these deals.

At Chuy's, dress like a taco on Oct. 4 for a free entree of your choice. You have to redeem your meal on taco day. If you've lost track of your taco costume (the horror), add a crispy beef taco to your meal for $1. Mexican beers are $1 off, and any Chuy's T-shirt with a taco on it is on sale for $10.

Fuzzy's is offering several tacos for $1. That includes baja tacos and breakfast tacos.

If you're on the go, Taco Bell has a "National Taco Day Gift Set" for $5. It includes four tacos "gift-wrapped" in a special box.

Farmers Branch-based Taco Bueno will give each customer one free crispy beef taco.
