Dallas' Tallest Skyscraper Gets Its Green Back

The tallest skyscraper in downtown Dallas will be getting its green back.

Officials with Bank of America Plaza say a ceremony will be held Thursday night to relight the outline of the renovated 72-story building.

Workers in early July turned off the signature green argon lighting as part of $15 million in upgrades. LED lights have been installed to enhance the light quality and exterior color of the office tower, which opened in 1985.

Interior renovations should be finished by next May.

The structure is owned by Metropolis Investments Holdings Inc. of Chicago.
